On-Site Medication Provider (PMHNP-BC, Physician, Physician Assistant, APRN, CNS, CNM, or CNP!)
Provides comprehensive medical care services within an addiction treatment setting, focusing on medication management and treatment for clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, holistic care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and health assessments for new and existing clients
- Develop and manage treatment plans, incorporating both medical and behavioral health needs
- Prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice, including addiction treatment medications (e.g., Suboxone) when appropriately certified
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record system
- Coordinate care with internal treatment team members and external healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other relevant regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations
- Provide clinical oversight of medication records and treatment protocols
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing
- Current, unencumbered state APRN license
- Valid DEA certificate
- Board certification in psychiatric/mental health nursing (PMHNP-BC)
- Minimum 3 years experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment
- Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in addiction medicine and MAT services
- Previous experience in community mental health settings
- Demonstrated supervision experience

Physical Requirements
Position involves alternating periods of sitting, standing, and movement while providing patient care. Must be able to operate computer systems and perform basic physical assessments.
