Key Facts:

  • Role Overview: The Clinical Director oversees daily clinical operations, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with regulations. 
  • Supervisory Duties: Supervises licensed clinicians, case managers, paraprofessionals, and certain nurses while providing guidance, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed. 
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Coordinates with HR for recruitment, implements procedures to achieve program goals, and monitors productivity and documentation to optimize revenue. 
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensures adherence to federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and client confidentiality (HIPAA). Also leads quality improvement activities and prepares for site visits.
  • Skills & Experience: Requires 3+ years in behavioral health leadership, a bachelor's or or master’s degree, and independent Ohio licensure (e.g., LICDC-CS). Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and proficiency in managing diverse teams. 
  • Budget & Community Engagement: Participates in budget development, monitors program finances, and collaborates with external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Flexibility & Travel: Role requires schedule flexibility (including weekends) and possible travel to observe or deliver services.
