The Wagnalls Memorial Celebrating 100th Anniversary with 3rd-Annual Gala in March
The Wagnalls Memorial Library in Lithopolis will celebrate their 100th anniversary during their 3rd-Annual Gala in March.
The Gala will take place on Saturday, March 8 beginning at 6 p.m. The evening celebrates the creation of Wagnalls Memoria Library in 1925 and the friendship between Mabel Wagnalls, creator of the library, and Harry Houdini.
The evening will feature a special show by Michael Griffin, Greatest Living Escape Artist and live music by Reelin' in the Years. Other evening activities include themed bars, heavy appetizers, strolling magician, silent and live auctions, photo booth, and Harry Houdini Tribute.
Dwayne and Patty Spence will be the honored guests for the evening. Dwayne founded Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home and was a long-time Wagnalls Memorial Foundation Trustee and officer.
Entertainment sponsorships ($2,500; two available) include publicity on Wagnalls' website, social media, flyers and at the event and a reserved table for 6 guests. Table sponsorships ($1,000) include a reserved table for 6 guests and table signage. Auction sponsorships ($500 or in-kind donation valued at least $500) receive two guest tickets. Smaller silent auction monetary donations or in-kind items are also appreciated. All sponsors will be listed in the event's program.
