Lancaster Festival Announces 2025 Grand Finale and Tribute Band Artists; Tickets On Sale May 1
LANCASTER, Ohio (March 8, 2025, 10 p.m.) – At its 2025 “Reveal Event,” the Lancaster Festival Board of Directors announced that its August 2nd Grand Finale concert on the Wendel Concert Stage will feature two headliners for the first time in Festival History: Grammy-winning artist Colbie Caillat and folk-rock band Dawes. Tickets will go on sale May 1 for the evening’s festivities and other events taking place during the 10-day celebration of music, art and community.
To date, Colbie Caillat has been honored with two GRAMMY Awards and five nominations and has accumulated more than 15 billion streams. Her debut album Coco hit #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and is certified 3x Platinum, while her Platinum-selling follow-up album Breakthrough landed at #1 on the Billboard album chart. Starting with her breakthrough hit “Bubbly” which is certified 6x Platinum, her radio career features eight #1 and/or top 10 singles including “Realize,” “Try,” and her GRAMMY-winning duet with Jason Mraz, “Lucky.”
Her live show is personal and engaging in any setting and she has become an expert storyteller. Recorded in Nashville, TN, her debut solo country album, Along The Way, is out now including singles “I’ll Be Here” featuring Sheryl Crow, “Worth It,” and “Still Gonna Miss You."
Throughout her career, she has been an avowed spokesperson and supporter for ASPCA, the Surfrider Foundation, Save The Music, Farm Sanctuary, and The Humane Society of the United States.
The folk-rock band Dawes will join Caillat to co-headline the evening. Dawes features brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, known for their thoughtful, introspective songwriting, strong musicianship, and ability to blend Americana with a touch of rock.
“Anyone who watched the opening act of the 2025 Grammy’s was wowed by Dawes, and Colbie is absolutely breathtaking in concert, so we are in for a phenomenal night!” said Lancaster Festival Director Deb Connell.
The Lancaster Festival Orchestra will open each evening under Music Director John Devlin , who will be conducting his first Lancaster Festival season with the orchestra. Dazzling fireworks will close out each Saturday evening performance.
The popular Wednesday-night tribute band, performing on July 30 is Hairball. The band rocks through a 2+ hour, mind-blowing, and drop-dead accurate homage to some of the biggest arena acts in the world. Van Halen, KISS, Motley Crue, Queen, Journey, and Aerosmith are but a few of the acts fans will see brought to life. The Hairball stage becomes an entirely new rock concert before your very eyes countless times throughout the night.
