Fairfield County District Library Announces New Extended Hours To Better Serve The Community
Lancaster, Ohio – The Fairfield County District Library is pleased to announce new extended operating hours at its Main Branch, 219 N. Broad Street, Lancaster, providing even greater access to our resources and services for the community. Beginning Monday, March 3, the Library will be open during the following hours:
- Sunday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Monday: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Tuesday: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Wednesday: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Thursday: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
“We understand the importance of providing access to library resources at times that are convenient for everyone,” said Becky Schaade. “Whether you’re a student needing a quiet study space, a professional researching new information, or a family looking to enjoy an earlier storytime, our new hours offer flexibility and convenience.”
The Library’s extended hours will allow more time for individuals to take advantage of its services, including access to books, computers, community events, and educational programs. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we aim to create an environment where every member of the community feels welcome.
