Communications Specialist
The Fairfield County Board of DD is looking for a Communications Specialist to be part of the Communications and Outreach team. This professional position is responsible for managing the communications of the Board which include all forms of communication to all stakeholders. This would include management writing, editing, publishing and distributing, or overseeing such, public reports, newsletters and other printed material, as well as spoken material, in various frequencies and formats. Maintains mail and contact lists for various stakeholders.
As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.
A Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) is required for this position, as well as a current CPR, First Aid, and a valid Ohio Driver’s License. In addition, a minimum of two years of administrative experience with demonstrated skills in quality management, supervision and decision-making.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.22 and adjustments are based upon experience and qualifications. This position includes full county benefits.
