Urban Stormwater Technician

Urban Stormwater Technician with the Fairfield Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) located in Lancaster, Ohio.

This is a full-time position with a minimum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in agriculture, engineering, soil science, forestry, natural resources, environmental science or closely related field and is subject to a six-month probationary period, pre-employment drug testing and background check. A valid Ohio driver’s license and insurable under the District’s automobile policy are required.

Salary starts at $20.01 per hour. Full-time benefits include enrollment in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System, health insurance plan and paid vacation, holidays and sick leave. Hours would be 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with ½ hour unpaid lunch, Monday through Friday.
