The Lancaster Festival is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for our patrons, volunteers, and community partners. About the Lancaster Festival

The Lancaster Festival is an annual celebration of art, music, and community in Lancaster, Ohio. Our mission is to encourage participation in the arts, through performances, exhibitions, and educational opportunities while maintaining affordable ticket prices.

About the Role

As Office Manager, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of festival activities, including ticketing, volunteer coordination, office administration, and event support. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator to keep everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Ticketing & Box Office:

  • Set up and manage events in ticketing software

  • Oversee ticket office volunteers and daily sales

  • Handle deposits and ticketing data

  • ​Manage table renewal purchases

Concert Site Support:

  • Schedule and train ticket gate and patron services volunteers

  • Prepare equipment and supplies for ticketing and concessions

  • Oversee post-concert accounting and deposits

  • Coordinate catering services

Office Administration:

  • Assist with email communications, scheduling, and donor engagement

  • Support volunteer communications and event planning

  • Maintain office supplies and manage ArtWalk artist applications

  • Assist with grant submissions

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Previous experience in office management, event coordination, or customer service

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Proficiency in ticketing software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with social media marketing and account maintenance

  • Ability to manage volunteers and work collaboratively

  • Comfortable handling cash and credit card transactions

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability during sales and concert seasons, including evenings and weekends

  • Ability to lift and transport event materials as needed
