The Friends of Lancaster Parks Presented the Pearl of the Parks Award to Joe Carter

Recently the Friends of Lancaster Parks presented the Pearl of the Parks award to Joe Carter. Carter began his volunteer career at Alley Park in 2010 and has taught outdoor skills, primitive cooking, flag ceremonies, fishing, hiking and insect identification to hundreds of community members. He has also been a chaperone for the Adventure Camp Survivor Kids along with assisting with other park programs and events.
