Fairfield County ESC Adopts STEM and Manufacturing Pilot Program
March 10, 2025 – Fairfield County Education Service Center (ESC) is operating a four-year, grant-funded pilot program to expand access to manufacturing, as well as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) career pathways for underserved students in rural, southeastern Ohio. In collaboration with Belmont County ESC, the Workforce Center, and Ohio University, the Rural Post-Secondary Economic Development (RPED) initiative will transform workplace readiness opportunities for this student
Fairfield County ESC Launches Full-Service Drivers Education Program
March 3, 2025 – Fairfield County Education Service Center (ESC) is ushering in the next generation of student drivers through a collaboration with eight local school districts, the Workforce Development Center, and Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools. Stemming from Governor DeWine’s administration and the Ohio Department of Public Safety, $4.5 million in grant funding through the Creating Opportunities for Driver Education (CODE) Grant Program was divided to 100 schools across the state.
