Vinton County National Bank Gives Rotary Club of Lancaster Gift for Accessible Playground
[Lancaster, Ohio] –The Rotary Club of Lancaster received a donation of $15,000 from the Vinton County National Bank to help fund the proposed Rotary All-Accessible Playground in Lancaster’s Miller Park.
The playground will occupy the current Miller Park along with the All-Abilities Ball Field and is estimated to cost slightly more than $1 million. Rotary has secured more than 70 percent of those funds to date.
“The support shown by Vinton County National Bank not only directly will help bring this project to fruition but also serves as a shining reminder of the commitment local businesses continue to make to the community,” said Mike Lieber of the Rotary Park Committee. “We share a common goal and that is providing a beautiful park accessible to everyone for generations to come.”
“Supporting community projects that not only enhance our community in the near future but that will continue to do so for many years speaks to our mission,” said Jodi Motta, Executive Vice President of Vinton County National Bank.
Donations for the project are being sought and interested donors can contribute through the Fairfield County Foundation, www.fairfieldcountyfoundation.org. The name of the fund is Rotary Club of Lancaster Playground Fund.
