The Salvation Army–Serving Lancaster & Fairfield County to Host Red Kettle Kickoff Luncheon Nov. 20
LANCASTER, OHIO (November 6, 2025) – The Salvation Army–Serving Lancaster & Fairfield County’s Red Kettle Kickoff luncheon, presented by Captains Alex and Kelsey Senak, will be hosted on Thursday, Nov. 20, at The Mill Event Center in Lancaster.
Serving as the official launch of The Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer campaign, the annual luncheon brings together local businesses and community members to engage with the social ministries and giving initiatives of the holiday season. The 2025 Angel Tree program will provide Christmas joy to over 500 children in need right here in Fairfield County. Angel Tree adoptions and donations, combined with Red Kettle bellringing, are the largest needs to support the Christmas Cheer campaign.
“As the new leaders of The Salvation Army, we’re honored to be in the presence of so many generous community members during this long-standing celebration,” said Captains Alex and Kelsey Senak. “We’re looking forward to recognizing several award winners during the event who continually serve with grateful hearts. We also celebrate those who attend with the same enthusiasm to become involved during this season of giving.”
Over 100 guests enjoy this cheerful event each year to celebrate impactful individuals and/or organizations who have significantly contributed to The Salvation Army’s mission, while taking a deeper look behind the red shield to see the instrumental work to bring hope and joy to our neighbors in need at Christmastime.
The Red Kettle Kickoff will feature Cabot Rea as emcee, former reporter and television news co-anchor at WCMH. Captains Alex and Kelsey Senak, commanders of The Salvation Army–Serving Lancaster & Fairfield County, will host the event and awards presentation.
