Rotary Club of Lancaster to Host Battle of the Bands Fundraiser for Rotary Playground

Lancaster, Ohio – The Rotary Club of Lancaster invites the community to its upcoming Battle of The Bands, a fundraiser event to benefit the club’s Playground Fund. The event will be held Saturday, September 20, at 4 p.m. at the Zane Square Stage in downtown Lancaster. A $20 donation supports this cause and grants admission to the event.  Tickets are available at www.simpletix.com/e/battle-of-the-bands-tickets-230528.

The event will feature a lineup of local bands, all led by Rotary members: The Fabulous Barnstormers, Second Gear, Bad Influence, Identity Crisis, and Brickhorse.

The proceeds will go towards the Rotary Club of Lancaster’s Playground Fund, supporting the ongoing development of an all-accessible playground in Miller Park. The Rotary Club is working closely with a committee developing an all-accessible ballpark to provide an all-accessible facility for children and families of our community to enjoy.

“Beyond highlighting our local talent, this event brings our community together to raise funds for an all-accessible playground at the future Miller Park,” said Rotary Playground Committee Chair, Mike Lieber. “We hope the community will come out for a night of live music and fellowship supporting a great cause!”
