Pink Cricket and Pizza Cottage to Host Fundraisers for Child Survivor of House Fire
LANCASTER, Ohio – Pink Cricket and Pizza Cottage will host back-to-back fundraisers on May 11 and 12 to support the Marshall family, including a 5-year-old child who survived a tragic house fire and is now in the care of her grandparents.
The first event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 11, at Pink Cricket, 929 E. Main St. A second fundraiser will follow from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at both Pizza Cottage Lancaster locations, 1961 E. Main St. and 2223 W. Fair Ave.
During each event, 15% of pre-taxed food sales will be donated to the Marshall Family. Alcohol, promotional discounts and tips are excluded.
“Our teams want to show this child that she is loved and supported,” said Larry Tipton, owner of Pizza Cottage and Pink Cricket. “We hope to help ease some of the financial burden on her grandparents, but just as importantly, we want to show her the strength of this community.”
