Millersport Lions Announce Grand Marshals For 2025 Sweet Corn Festival Parade

The Millersport Lions Club is pleased to announce that the Grand Marshals for the 78th Sweet Corn Festival Grand Parade will be Roman and Brittney Atwood of Newark. They will lead the parade on the North Valley Bank float.

The parade kicks off on Wednesday, August 27, 6:00 pm and proceeds on Lancaster Street and Chautauqua Boulevard through Millersport with 17 high school marching bands and 150 units.

Roman and Brittney were selected to be honored this year because 200 years ago, Mathias Miller founded the community as a port on the Ohio-Erie Canal and when you look back at all of the people that have lived, worked or graduated from Millersport High School, this couple has helped put “Millersport on the map” as social media influencers and content creator.

Join us on Wednesday, August 27 in Millersport to recognize a world famous, hometown couple, Roman & Brittney Atwood, who bring joy and laughter to millions of people every day. They have 15.3 million followers on You Tube, 4.8 million followers on Instagram and over 5 billion views across multiple platforms. They are the parents of Noah, Kane, Knox and Cora. Roman’s father is the founder of the Atwood Rope Manufacturing Company and Atwood Toy Company of Millersport. The Atwood Family are respected business entrepreneurs that contribute significantly to the economy and labor force of the Greater Buckeye Lake Area.

We encourage all of Roman and Brittney’s loyal fans to join us on Wednesday, August 27, at 6:00 pm to honor two local legends that make it their objective to spread kindness every day of the year.
