Lancaster, Ohio – The Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency is pleased to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating significant upgrades to its food pantry facilities on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
The event will take place at the agency’s location at 1743 E Main Street, Lancaster, Ohio, and will highlight recent improvements designed to enhance food storage capacity and distribution efficiency for the community.
Upgrades include the installation of a new walk-in freezer, which will allow for expanded storage of perishable food items, purchase of a new reach-in freezer and two refrigerators, ensuring the agency can continue providing food to families and a pallet scale, improving the agency’s ability to manage and distribute large quantities of food more effectively.
These enhancements represent a meaningful investment in strengthening local food assistance services and ensuring that families in Fairfield County have greater access to fresh and nutritious food.
The Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency extends its sincere appreciation to the organizations that made these upgrades possible. Funding support was generously provided by the Fairfield County Foundation Wendel Family Fund, South Central Power, and the NB Martens Charitable Trust.
Community members, partners, and local leaders are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate these important improvements and learn more about the agency’s ongoing efforts to serve those in need.
