Fairfield Federal President Mary Snider Receives Ohio Bankers League
Exceptional Woman in Banking Award
LANCASTER, Ohio (March 24, 2026) – The 12th Annual Ohio Bankers League (OBL) Women in Banking Conference was held March 19 and 20 in Columbus, Ohio, as a statewide gathering for industry professionals. Fairfield Federal President and OBL Board Member Mary Snider received the 2026 Exceptional Woman in Banking Award, honoring her accomplished career and contributions to Fairfield Federal and the community.
Professionals representing financial institutions across Ohio convened to network, engage in educational workshops, and attend the presentations of the OBL annual awards –the Rising Star Award, and the Exceptional Woman in Banking Award.
With 42 years of experience at Fairfield Federal, including eight of those years as President, Snider has significantly contributed to the strategic direction of the Association’s three office locations.
Snider, who was elected to OBL’s Board of Directors in January 2025, is currently serving a two-year term for the statewide trade association. OBL is comprised of more than 170 FDIC-insured financial institutions varying in size and services and plays a pivotal role in shaping banking policies and strategies, advocating for its members' interests and fostering collaboration and excellence in banking across the state.
“I am so honored to receive this recognition,” said Snider. “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that I have had to work with such phenomenal people at Fairfield Federal and I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had to make an impact on our customers and community. It has been an honor to represent community banks as an OBL Board Member, and I look forward to continuing to advocate for the industry during the remainder of my term.”
