Fairfield County Updates Online Lot Split Application to Streamline Process & Announces Webinar
 

Fairfield County, Ohio — Fairfield County has launched a new online Lot Split Application designed to make the process of dividing property parcels faster, easier, and more transparent for residents, surveyors, and developers.
 

The new digital application allows users to submit lot split requests online, upload required documents, and track the progress of their application from submission to approval. By moving the process to a centralized online platform, the county aims to reduce paperwork, improve communication, and help applicants complete submissions more efficiently.
 

Previously, the lot split process often required multiple steps across different systems and interactions. The new platform simplifies those steps by providing a single place for applicants to submit materials, receive updates, and communicate with county staff.
 

“Modernizing how we deliver services is an important step toward improving the experience for residents and professionals who work with the county,” said Dr. Carri Brown, County Auditor. “This new online application makes the process more accessible while helping all staff review submissions more efficiently and consistently.”
 

The new application system is powered by SimpliGov, the government forms and workflow automation platform that helps teams move faster and serve constituents better through automated workflows.

To help introduce the new system to others, Fairfield County and SimpliGov will host a free informational webinar demonstrating the new workflow.

The webinar will include a live walkthrough of the application process and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions about the new system.
