Fairfield County Auditor Announces New Lodging Tax Payment Portal
Fairfield County, Ohio — Fairfield County has launched a new online lodging tax payment portal. The new portal modernizes the lodging tax registration and collection process. The online portal for lodging tax registration and payment processing is now live and available for use for 2nd quarter collections.
Auditor Carri Brown is pleased to make the switch to the new portal stating, “The new lodging tax portal is another step toward modernizing county government while making the registration and payment process more convenient for Fairfield County's lodging providers.”
Local hotel, motel, and short-term rentals in Fairfield County will need to complete your registration now by visiting the payment portal using the direct link, https://portal.deckard.com/oh-fairfield-str-portal , or by scanning the QR code labeled “Payment Portal.” The portal provides step-by-step instructions to guide you. Completing the registration in the portal is all that is required to finalize registration.
The Fairfield County Auditor’s Office administers the county lodging tax program, which supports the Visitors and Convention Bureau and the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio.
