Fairfield Community Health Center Expands Services with New In-House Pharmacy
LANCASTER, OH – Fairfield Community Health Center (FCHC) is excited to announce the grand-opening of a new in-house pharmacy, expanding the organization’s commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of the community.
The new pharmacy will be located inside the main entrance to FCHC at 220 E. Walnut St. in Lancaster. Access is not limited to FCHC patients, meaning anyone may have their prescriptions filled at the pharmacy.
“Adding the pharmacy to our clinic will be convenient for our patients and our community,” said Lisa Evangelista, Chief Executive Officer at FCHC.
Pharmacy operations will be managed by Iron Scripts RX, a Zanesville, Ohio based company specializing in the development and management of pharmacies who participate in the Health Resources and Servies Administration’s federal 340b Drug Pricing Program.
All forms of insurance will be accepted at the pharmacy, including Medicaid and Medicare. An income-based sliding fee scale is also available to patients established with FCHC who qualify, including those with existing coverage options.
The pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. including during lunch hours. To transfer prescriptions to FCHC’s pharmacy, patients are encouraged to ask their care team at their next visit or call FCHC at 740-277-6043, option 5.
