Dagger Law Employee Elected President of Lancaster City Schools Board of Education

Lancaster, Ohio – Dagger Law is proud to announce that Bryan Everitt, attorney at Dagger Law, has been elected president of the Lancaster City Schools Board of Education.

Originally elected to the board of education in November 2023, Everitt’s term began on January 1, 2024. The board elected him to serve as vice president in 2024, and at the board’s reorganization meeting on January 7, 2026, he was elected president by fellow board members.

“We are thrilled to see Bryan rise to this leadership position on the Lancaster City Schools Board,” said Jeff Spangler, co-managing partner of Dagger Law. “Bryan has consistently demonstrated exemplary involvement within the community, and we know he will bring the highest quality service to this important role.”

Outside of his legal practice, Bryan is actively involved in serving Lancaster and Fairfield County through civic involvement. He currently serves as the founder and vice president of Lancaster Alive, chairperson of the Historic Lancaster Commission, and in leadership or membership roles with the Fairfield County District Library, Lancaster Public Education Foundation, Lancaster Tree Commission, and Fairfield County Veterans Hall of Fame.

In addition to his current service, Bryan has held past leadership roles with numerous community and professional organizations and has contributed to initiatives supporting education, downtown development and civic engagement throughout the region. His dedication to community service has been recognized through multiple honors and awards reflecting a longstanding commitment to public service.
