Community Housing Impact Preservation Grant Awarded to Fairfield County Commissioners
Lancaster, Ohio – The Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency is pleased to announce the Ohio Department of Development’s PY2025 Community Housing Impact Preservation Grant.
The grant has been awarded to the Fairfield County Commissioners, and is administered by Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency.
The grant term is from December 1, 2025 – April 30, 2028. Ohio Department of Development has awarded $400,000 for rehabilitation and repair activities in Fairfield County, excluding the city of Lancaster. An estimated 4 households will receive rehabilitation assistance, while an estimated 6 households will receive repair assistance.
Households must reside in Fairfield County, excluding the city of Lancaster, and fall under 80% of Area Median Income, which for a family of 4 is $80,200 per year.
Examples of repair and rehabilitation activities include but are not limited to: electrical repair; exterior and interior structural components such as roof, walls, floors, and foundation repair or replacement; hot water tank replacement; well and septic repair or replacement; and lead based paint remediation.
