Lancaster, OH – The Fairfield County Board of Commissioners announces Fairfield County Administrator Aundrea Cordle was appointed President of
the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA) for 2026.

NPELRA is the nation’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to public sector labor relations and human resources professionals, representing a network of state and regional affiliates across the country. Through education, collaboration, and advocacy, the association plays a vital role in strengthening public service.

Cordle has built a distinguished career in labor relations and human resources, earning recognition for her collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and commitment to strengthening public sector workplaces. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing public employers. Cordle previously served as President of the Ohio Public Employer Labor Relations Association (OHPELRA) and currently remains active on its Board. She served previously on the NPELRA Board as Executive Vice President.

As President, Cordle will guide the organization’s efforts to provide professional development, advocacy, and resources for labor relations and human resources professionals serving public agencies. Her leadership comes at a critical time as public sector organizations continue to navigate evolving workforce dynamics, labor relations trends, and service delivery expectations. Cordle has been employed by Fairfield County for more than 35 years, previously serving as the Director of Fairfield County Job and Family Services and as the County’s Director of Human Resources. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Communication and Master of Business Administration from Ohio University and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society for Human Resource Management.

She is active in the community, volunteering her time with several nonprofit organizations, including the Fairfield County Foundation, Lancaster Rotary, and serving as Board President of the Lancaster Festival.
