Amanda-Clearcreek Reveals District Campus Improvements During Community Open House

AMANDA, Ohio (November 24, 2025) Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools (A-C) unveiled facility upgrades at their campus on Saturday, Nov. 22 during an open house. These construction projects were celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off the community program, followed by facility tours.

District improvements include the construction of an athletic field house and a baseball/softball building, new athletic storage, and expansions within the primary building, which houses pre-kindergarten through second grade. This marks the completion of A-C’s facilities improvement project, which operated in phases since the groundbreaking in 2024.

VSWC Architects, alongside Summit Construction, both Ohio-based firms, supervised the planning and renovations. “This project represents the culmination of three years of visioning, designing, and building,” said Chris Dumford, President of VSWC Architects. “We are proud of these new facilities that will serve the Amanda-Clearcreek community for generations to come.”

“We're honored to have partnered on a project that strengthens the heart of Amanda-Clearcreek,” said Jake Jezerski, Project Manager with Summit Construction Company. “These improvements aren't just buildings; they are spaces where students, families and neighbors can gather for years to come. It is exciting to see what collaboration and community spirit can accomplish."
A-C welcomed students, staff, board members, and the community to the campus for a first look. A-C students, families, and community members enjoyed light refreshments and remarks by school leaders. Amanda Mayor, Mark Moore, was also in attendance to celebrate the event.

“Seeing this come to fruition is very exciting for our school community,” said Dr. Timothy Edwards, Superintendent of Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools. “These expansions and renovations will greatly improve our staff and student experiences for years to come. We value our relationship with Summit Construction and VSWC Architects and for their detailed work that made our collective vision come to life. We are especially grateful to the Amanda-Clearcreek community and their continued support of the school district.”
