Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools Welcomes Ohio State Representative Kevin D. Miller; Interviews with A-C Career Tech Student, Visits Classrooms
AMANDA, Ohio (April 3, 2026) – Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools (A-C) welcomed Ohio State Representative, Kevin D. Miller, on April 1. Miller experienced the A-C School District in numerous classroom settings and grade levels, and toured recent facility upgrades.
During his visit, A-C students had the opportunity to interact with Rep. Miller, who participated in an interview conducted by Addison Singleton, a student in A-C‘s Career Tech information technology pathway. In addition, he observed A-C High School biology students using the Anatomage table, instructed by science teacher Mrs. Cindy Montoney. Anatomage is an advanced real-human-based medical education platform, featuring digital formats that provide an accurate 3D representation and simulation of real anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Miller’s visit also occurred on a unique but treasured day at A-C Primary, known as Day of Play, where primary students focus on socialization with one another in small group settings to experience the benefits of play and build socialization skills. Miller toured A-C preschool classrooms, A-C’s STEM classroom and more, experiencing a real-world look into the classrooms of A-C students.
“We are incredibly grateful that Representative Miller took time out of his busy schedule to visit our district and see a glimpse of what makes A-C so special. Rep. Miller interacted with our students at all grade levels, seeing several different kinds of classroom experiences and our district’s unwavering commitment to help Aces become successful adults through their educational journey. The day was a great learning experience for everyone,” said Dr. Timothy Edwards, superintendent of Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools.
In a social media post, Miller commented on the visit to A-C Schools.
“I spent a couple hours today with Superintendent Edwards and his staff touring the Amanda-Clearcreek school campus. The District has a lot to be proud of including their highly professional staff, spotless facilities and engaging students I had the privilege of meeting today,” said Miller. “I would also like to especially thank the primary students who made cards and signed a banner for me. It remains a honor to represent the residents of the 69th House District!”
State Representative Kevin Miller was elected in November of 2022 to represent the people of the 69th Ohio House District, which encompasses portions of Fairfield, Perry, and Licking counties. Representative Miller served with the Ohio State Highway Patrol for more than 20 years.
