250 Plates Fundraising Event Set For September 29

LANCASTER, Ohio-- The Fairfield County Foundation and Destination Downtown Lancaster are pleased to announce that the 250 Plates Community Meal to benefit Fairfield County food pantries, Keller Market House and Destination Downtown Lancaster will take place on Sunday, September 29, from 5 – 8 p.m. on Broad St., between Main St. and Bank Alley.

Guests will enjoy an inspired menu of locally sourced food prepared by the chefs of participating downtown restaurants, a cash bar with locally crafted drink specials, and live music. Angela Krile of Krile Communications will serve as chair of this year’s event, which is made possible by support from more than 18 local sponsors.

“We are excited to bring another 250 Plates Community Meal to the Fairfield County community,” said Amy Eyman, Chief Executive Officer of the Fairfield County Foundation. “This event has raised more than $87,000 for local food pantries, Keller Market House and Destination Downtown Lancaster since it started in 2019. We are incredibly grateful and humbled by the support and enthusiasm the community has shown for the event over the past five years.”

“We look forward to bringing the community together again in beautiful downtown Lancaster to enjoy a delicious family-style meal, connect with friends and neighbors, and raise funds to support these vital local organizations,” said Amanda Everitt, Executive Director of Destination Downtown Lancaster. “It has been a true joy to see this event grow and evolve over the past five years, and we look forward to continuing it for years to come.”
