Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Full-Time | No Weekends | No After-Hours
Are you a licensed RVT with a big heart, a love for animals, and a desire to make a real impact in your community? Come join the Fairfield Area Humane Society’s Wellness Clinic!
We’re a low-cost, high-compassion veterinary clinic that helps pets (and their people!) get the care they need. We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to bring their skills, compassion, and occasional sense of humor to our fun and passionate team.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with appointments for dogs and cats
- Support surgery prep, recovery, and anesthesia monitoring
- Run lab tests and diagnostics
- Conduct technician appointments
- Educate pet parents and help them feel confident and supported
- Keep things running smoothly during clinic and surgery hours
About the Job:
- Monday–Friday schedule – NO weekends
- NO on-call or after-hours emergencies
- Pay starting at $18/hour, based on experience

Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of Ohio
- Experience with cats and dogs
- A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Bonus points for being able to comfort a nervous pup and handle a spicy cat with grace
