Description
A Foreman is responsible for directing the daily work at jobsites throughout our Ohio territory including being on-time to start your day. Work may include reading and interpreting plans, specifications and submittals while directing and laying out the installation of all types of duct, equipment, various piping systems, low voltage wiring, louvers, dampers, and air devices. The Foreman must ensure his team is working in a safe manner according to OSHA guidelines and communicate effectively and professionally while representing the company. 

  • Ensure a safe jobsite while following OSHA standards.
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and submittals.
  • Have a working knowledge of all HVAC disciplines as well as a basic understanding of all trade work.
  • Work with, develop and direct a team.
  • Mentor and develop subordinates.
  • Lead by example with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain daily job reports, material orders and safety audits.
  • Attend progress meetings.
  • Look ahead and be proactive.
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
  • Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Direct and oversee the installation of various types of duct systems, equipment, pipe, controls, louvers, dampers & air devices.
Requirements
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in HVAC.
  • Willingness to continue your education in the industry through company and vendor provided training.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Punctual: will report to work on time for all scheduled shifts.
  • Obtain and maintain OSHA 30 certification.
