The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Part Time Hygiene Specialist for the 2026-27 school year.  The chosen candidate will assist in the training and personal care of individuals who have developmental disabilities.  An employee in this classification may receive direction from an administrator, instructor, instructor assistant or educational aide.  As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies at all times, and shall demonstrate respect for, support the dignity of and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.
 
 
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position as well as an Educational Aide Certificate from DODD/ODE.  CPR and First Aid will be provided by the employer.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $17.90 and is based upon experience and qualifications and includes full county benefits.
