Behavioral Support Technician

Fairfield DD seeks a full-time Behavior Support Technician. This role is responsible for providing behavioral consultation to teams under the guidance of the Behavioral Support Coordinator, working with individuals at home, school, residential, or vocational setting, as well as working with support staff to implement behavioral strategies developed in collaboration with Fairfield DD Behavior Support Coordinators. In addition, the BST will assist with training of staff in best-practice methods, collects observational data, organizes, and tracks behavioral patterns in accordance with an individual’s service plan (ISP) and communicates those needs to others who support the individual.
 
The starting hourly rate for this position is $23.37 and is based upon experience and qualifications and includes full county benefits. A High School Diploma or higher is required plus minimum of three years’ experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. A minimum of two years of working with and developing behavior support strategies.
