Firm Administrator

Stebelton Snider LPA, a full service law firm operating for over forty years, with a staff of approximately 38 employees in Lancaster, Ohio, is looking for a Firm Administrator. 

  • The position will encompass all Human Resource management functions.
  • HR management will include: staff recruiting, orientation and training, salary administration, employee relations, benefit administration, control of personnel data information, coordinate social events, payroll, oversee workflow, vendor management, along with professional growth and development of the staff, management of annual wage and salary review of all support staff.
  • Financial management will include: knowledge of basic budgeting, cash flow process, bank reconciliations and overview of Firm finances.
  • Operational management will include: supporting administrative operations of the Firm and reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The position will identify and plan for the changing needs of the Firm while establishing priorities and maintaining good interpersonal relations and communication with all personnel. 
  • The successful candidate will be involved with strategic planning, practice management, and contributing to cost-effective management throughout the Firm.
  • IT Management will involve working with the Firm’s third-party IT contractors to support staff daily with technical operations and software updates.
Qualifications include:
  • Five years’ experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, or business administration.
  • Law firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of leading, planning, and managing in a client-oriented setting.
  • Ability to develop and supervise a team.
  • Skilled in change-management and long-term operational goals.
  • Concise and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful project management skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees.
  • Possesses uncompromising ethics, integrity, and credibility.
Background and credit check will be administered to the accepted Firm Administrator. Discussion of salary and benefits at interview.
