Description

Summary

The Universal Banker I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers in accordance with KNB policies and procedures. The UB I will process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy. The UB I will manage a cash drawer/recycler, respond to customer inquiries, and make recommendations on bank products and services.

Essential Functions

  • Greets walk-in customers, determines customer needs and directs them to appropriate staff
  • Processes daily customer transactions as needed including cashing checks, receiving deposits, issuing withdrawals, and accepting loan payments
  • Answers and routes telephone calls, takes messages, provides information and directs calls to appropriate staff members as necessary
  • Assists in ATM balancing and processes mail and night drop transactions
  • CTR Processing
  • Performs other tasks as directed by the Branch Manager

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required; Minimum 6-12 months prior bank experience or equivalent cash handling and customer service experience.

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel:

  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
