Salary Range: $33,368.00 To $52,482.00 Annually
Description
To fully engage in office activities and decision making by being an active participant in the daily branch function through opening consumer deposit accounts, handling customer transactions in all capacities, to include front line transactions. Relationship Bankers are expected to recognize that in order to provide Service Excellence a customer’s experience should always be consistent whether they are online, using a mobile device, speaking to us over the phone or visiting us in person. In order to maintain this Relationship Bankers must consistently follow and model VCNB Service Standards. It is the expectation that Relationship Bankers will maintain a high level of knowledge and performance in all skills associated with Front Line and Consumer Deposit Accounts, by providing customers with exceptional service and upholding the VCNB Mission Statement and Core Values.
Job Duties
- Participates in sales development activities while adhering to the VCNB Sales Approach. This includes actively calling on prospective customers to develop new opportunities and existing customers to expand and retain current customer relationships.
- Participates in community activities to support organizational goals.
- Strives to optimize the customer experience by providing Service Excellence through consistent execution of the VCNB Service Standards.
- Utilizes customer relationship software and skills to achieve branch production goals.
- Perform any skills/duties outlined in teller job descriptions to adequately meet branch needs
- Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts with a high level of accuracy and ensuring all proper documentation is provided.
- Consistently follows established bank policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services, and make quality referrals to other bankers when appropriate.
- Assists with administrative duties within the branch as needed
- Maintains work areas according to branch standards or other established security procedures
- Displays sound judgement and provides support and leadership within the branch by assisting less experienced bankers and keeping management informed of potential opportunities or challenges that may arise
- Able to effectively problem solve customer issues and provide input for resolution
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion within job duties
