Schedule: 8 hr. shift DAYS; 40 hrs./wk. (Monday - Friday)
FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Home of The Pickering House is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive, administrative clerical support and customer service as a representative of the President & CEO and the organization. We believe in a professional team approach to promote the philosophy of palliative and hospice care concept.
This position works in directly with the President & CEO and in collaboration with the Vice President, Leadership team, and the FAIRHOPE Board of Trustees.
The qualified candidate must demonstrate strong communication and social interaction skills, as well as possess the ability to analyze and implement proper action is essential. Excellent computer skills with work experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities:
Provides comprehensive administrative, clerical support and customer service for the President & CEO and the organization. Assists CEO on select matters, including those of a highly confidential and critical nature.
Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the organization, including:
Assisting with special projects;
Designing and producing documents and reports;
Collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; and
Composing and preparing correspondence, memos, faxes, forms and emails.
Provides calendar management for CEO and works closely to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities; follows up appropriately. Anticipates CEO's needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
Coordinates, attends, and documents routine board meetings and committee meetings while maintaining confidential information. Arranges and handles all board meeting logistics, including maintaining meeting schedule; board communications and notifications; drafting, compiling and distributing meeting materials, and recording all meeting minutes. Adheres to compliance with rules and regulations in accordance with the Board of Trustee bylaws.
Gives attention to detail and the ability to accurately maintain detailed records and confidential information.
Coordinates all Leadership meetings and assists with staff meetings and events as needed.
Reconciles fixed assets and posts depreciation, and prepaid expense and post amortization.
Acts as a liaison with external partners. Provides general support to visitors. Directs incoming calls, routes telephone calls and facsimiles appropriately.
Remains HIPAA compliant at all times.
Qualifications: Associates Degree in Administrative Studies or Business Administration or high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years administrative support experience in a professional environment.
Minimum of three years administrative experience preferred.
Excellent computer skills with working experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
May require evenings and weekends as needed to assist with events or meetings.
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, good driving record and auto accident insurance at a level acceptable to FAIRHOPE and/or FAIRHOPE’s insurer.
Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
Physical Setting: In-office environment. Traveling to other sites may be required as needed. Travel may be in inclement weather.
Work Location: Service area coverage throughout Fairfield, Hocking, Perry and surrounding counties. Main office location is located in Lancaster, Ohio.
