Ribbon Cutting - FAIRHOPE Hospice Palliative & AIM Clinic
Join FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care and the Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Sept. 23!
FAIRHOPE is excited to open an Advanced Illness Management (AIM) clinic for patients seeking palliative care for their advanced and serious illness. The clinic is located at 1319 E. Main St. in Lancaster which was Dr. Scott DeLong’s former building. Dr. Jerig will continue his OB/GYN practice on one side of the building. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4 p.m.
What is Palliative Care?
It is a specialized medical care that focuses on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of an advanced, serious and life limiting illness. The goal is to improve the quality of life for both the patient and their family/caregivers.
