Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce DEIB Training Series
To create a more inclusive business community, the Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce presents a three-part series of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) training for members. This series is open to all Chamber members and the community. Sessions will focus on understanding and operationalizing DEIB as a business strategy, including within areas of compliance and strategic vision.
These interactive discussions will focus on developing skills, abilities, and knowledge to use immediately within your business, as well as understanding how to identify your current needs for ongoing DEIB business strategy development.
Part 2: The What - Understanding Culture & Climate as the Develop of Strategy
Businesses with a strong culture & climate for their employees can have higher returns on DEIB investments. This class will discuss evaluating culture & climate, identifying gaps, and ideas for strengthening employee relationships. We will also discuss the relationship between legal compliance (EEO and ADA) on culture & climate and whose responsibility is to create a strong culture & climate within your organization. After this session, you will master concepts related to culture & climate and methods to evaluate and identify current gaps.
