Associate Professor of Ohio University Lancaster in Health and the 2017 Athena Award Winner\, Debra Smith\, will show us how to:\n\n	          Identify the purpose of the presentation \n	          Determine objectives\n	          Determine the tone\n	          Identify details and\n	          Weave the story\n\nServing as an Assistant Professor/Program Director of Health Technology at OUL\, Debra Smith has been a leader in education technology and was the key note speaker at the 2011 Women In Technology Conference at OUL.  She is a retired physical therapist and is experienced in public speaking and how to keep your audience engaged.  Compassionate about her community\, she was a member of the Fairfield Medical Center Board of Directors from 2009-2015 where she served a term as board chair.  Among other volunteer activities\, she is a member of the board of directors for the Recovery Center and a trainer for Bridges Out of Poverty.
