SUMMARY:2025 National Civics Bee - Local Competition
DESCRIPTION:The Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the local Civics Bee competition!\n\n\n\nThe event will feature 20 local students based on essays submitted in the opening phase of the competition.\n\n\n\nRegistration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the event kicking-off at 10 a.m. A reception for our participants will take place shortly after the competition.\n\n\n\nThe event consists of three rounds   two multiple-choice quiz rounds that will narrow the field to five participants\, followed by a third round where our finalists will be quizzed on their essays by a panel of local judges.\n\n\n\nPrizes will be given to all 20 participants\, including a goodie bag from local Chamber members and an Amazon Fire tablet\, which the students will be using during the live competition. The top five participants during the event will receive cash prizes up to $500 and will advance to the State Civics Bee competition this summer.\n\nThe National Civics Bee is presented by the Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce\, with support from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
